Healthy Interactive Valuable and Effective
(Ages 9-21)

Many want healthy, stable living environments with a strong network of friends and family. They have had their lives detoured and not able to get back on track. Some are without a proper support system. Many are facing stress, low self-esteem and isolation, which may have impacted them negatively. There is also a great risk of depression, behavior issues, drug and alcohol use, abuse, self-inflicting harm, teenage pregnancy, and homelessness, and criminal activities. For some, mentoring a youth whose parent is incarcerated can help children by improving their relationships which will inturn raducie the likelihood that they will initiate violence.
The Sistah Hive and The Sistah Hub are providing quality, lasting one-to-one relationships to youth and adults, and those of offenders. We pair each one with caring role models for future success. Our mentors provide opportunities to gain new skills and interests and expand their experiences by acting as a trusted friend.

Lets Show them that they matter
The Sistah Hub, specifically provides adults with opportunities to develop a trusting relationship that is supportive and caring which may promote healthier values for strong families.
The Sistah Hive and Sistah Hub will serve to provide assistance, encouragement, and be an attentive ear to hear so they can be heard.
Our togetherness will involve mentorship, workshops, health, advice, relationship building and networking. What will be gained? Impactive knowledge that someone really does care about who they are and where they are going.
Opening the lines of communication will always be the first step to improving the views of who they are and view about others. We must convey the message that "they are not alone", by building a safe-haven of trust which will be the foundation for them to stand.
Many believe they are not GOOD ENOUGH

Through open communication, our goal is to empower the ladies to develop their strengths and leadership abilities through workshops, open forums, projects and community service activities. Our aim is to empower. We want each person to live their lives to its fullest potentional.
