/ OPERATIONS
Shelter Assistance
You might assist staff weekday evenings from 6:00 to 9:00, or help with organizing and sorting donations. The opportunity exists to assist with outings for the mothers and children.
Child Care
This is primarily a need in the evenings or events.
Special Projects Needs
We need assistance with the collecting items from our needs list.
Office Assistance
Our administrative staff is frequently in need of help with phone calls and typing.

03 / ADDITIONAL VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
We often have displays at conferences and public events. Domestic violence information, along books written by the Directors are often presented. We sometimes have opportunities to sell items in support of our programs at these events. Volunteers are always needed to help make our presence at this type of event possible.
INFORMATION BOOTHS
Our board members serve two-year terms with a maximum of two terms in a row. Board meetings are held three times a year. Locaitons are announced. Board members are also expected to serve on committees and assist with agency fundraisers. We also have an advisory board that assists with special projects for the agency.

We also occasionally need volunteers to prepare newsletters and other agency publications for mailing.
